Nextdoor Nanny (“NDN”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides a range of services including verified nanny placements, managed childcare support, parent–nanny matching tools, and access to trusted third-party service providers. This Refund and Return Policy sets out the terms under which any payments, cancellations, or requests for returns may be handled on the NDN platform.
By using or making a payment on the NDN website, mobile application, or any associated platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. General Refund Policy
All payments made on the Nextdoor Nanny (NDN) platform are considered final and non-refundable, unless otherwise explicitly specified in writing by NDN. This applies to, but is not limited to:

Nanny placement or engagement fees

Managed service or support fees
-
Expert consultations or childcare workshops
-
Premium feature unlocks or subscriptions
-
Content downloads or access to gated resources
-
Products or services purchased through the NDN platform or partner links
Refunds will not be issued under any circumstance unless approved solely at the discretion of NDN management.
2. Refund Eligibility (At Discretion)
While NDN operates a no-refund policy by default, we reserve the right, on a case-by-case basis, to issue refunds or credits in exceptional situations, including but not limited to:

Cancellation of an event by NDN Double billing or accidental duplicate charges

Non-delivery of a digital product or confirmed service
All such exceptions are subject to internal review, and NDN shall be under no obligation to justify approval or denial of a request.
3. Return and Exchange Requests (If Applicable)
In rare cases where physical goods are shipped or distributed (e.g., event kits, printed materials), the following return policy shall apply:

Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition.

Returns must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the user unless otherwise stated.

Exchanges will be allowed only if the product is damaged in transit or defective upon receipt. All return or exchange requests must be submitted in writing to: support@urbanparents.club.
Returns and exchanges are not applicable to digital content or one-time-use services.
4. Refund Request Procedure
To submit a refund or exception request, users must email support@urbanparents.club with the following details:

Full name and email ID used for registration

Order ID or transaction reference

Reason for the request, including any supporting evidence (screenshots, confirmations, etc.)

Description of the product, event, or service in question.
Our team will acknowledge the request within 3 business days and complete review within 7–15 business days. Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method only. NDN is not responsible for refund delays due to bank processing time, gateway technical issues, or external financial institution policies.
5. Circumstances Where Refunds Will Not Be Issued
Refunds will not be issued in the following scenarios:

Change of mind after registration or payment

User dissatisfaction with event content, speakers, or experience

Non-attendance or late arrival to a registered event or session
-
Inability to access the Platform due to internet, device, or location issues

Failure to use the service within a given period
-
Delays or dissatisfaction with services provided by third-party vendors (e.g., nannies, play zones, event venues)

User-submitted errors during payment or registration
6. Processing Time for Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved:

It will be processed within 15 business days from the date of approval
-
The refund will be made only to the original payment method
-
NDN will not be held responsible for any additional charges, bank delays, or intermediary fees
We do not issue cash refunds, cheques, or alternative payment methods unless required by law.
7. No Chargeback Abuse
Users agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment reversals without first contacting NDN support and allowing a resolution period of at least 15 business days. Unfounded chargebacks will result in:

Immediate account suspension or permanent ban

Legal recovery of refunded amounts, if any, along with applicable fees
8. Credits or Goodwill Vouchers
In cases where refunds are not approved, NDN may choose to issue:

A platform credit (valid for future events or services)
-
A one-time-use voucher for a specific feature
Such credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be used within 90 days unless otherwise stated. Issuance of goodwill credits does not imply admission of fault or liability.
9. Nextdoor Nanny’s Right to Modify or Cancel
NDN reserves the full right to:

Postpone or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances
-
Change service content or delivery format
-
Substitute experts or providers
-
Adjust event pricing, delivery, or ticketing details
In such cases, refund or rescheduling options may be offered at our discretion, with no obligation to compensate for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nextdoor Nanny, its founders, promoters, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

Loss of life, access, revenue, or goodwill

Service interruptions or technical failures
-
Third-party service breakdowns
-
User misinterpretation of event or service value
-
Inconvenience or emotional distress arising from service outcomes
